Phyllis Jean Birkinshaw

Phyllis Jean (Cribb) Birkinshaw, age 86, of La Plata, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at her home.
She was daughter of Ernest and Grace (Nihiser).
Phyllis graduated class of 1957 from La Plata High School where she played Basketball. She then moved to California, where she worked and raised her family. When retirement came around, she decided to move back to her “hometown” La Plata to enjoy her golden years with family.
Phyllis is survived by her daughter Julie, son in law Tom and granddaughter Madison, her son Brian, daughter in law Jamie and granddaughter Chloe; and her best friend (Vi) Vanancia Molina.
Phyllis was a God given joy to all that knew her and will be missed very much.
Private graveside services were held in the La Plata Cemetery in La Plata, Missouri.
