Leola M. Dunseith, age 77, of Columbia, Missouri passed away Friday, November 6, 2026, at her home.

Born February 15, 1949, in Elmer, Missouri, the daughter of Ted and Beulah (Hoffman) Koger. On August 13, 1967, she was united in marriage to Dickey Dunseith who preceded her in death on September 28, 2001.

Also preceding her in death were her parents and two brothers, Raymond and Spud Koger.

Surviving are two sons, John Dunseith of Oberlin, Louisiana and Ted Dunseith of Columbia, Missouri; five grandchildren, Autumn, Cody, Katie, Isaac, and Maddy; two great grandchildren, Jack and Braxton; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Leola was a 1967 graduate of Elmer High School. She lived in Atlanta, Missouri before moving to Columbia, Missouri in 1989. Leola worked as a dietician at Derby Ridge Elementary School in Columbia for a number of years and was an active member of Liberty Baptist Church in Columbia.

Leola loved spending time with friends and especially her family.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 11, 2026, at Travis Funeral Chapel in La Plata, Missouri. Burial will be in the Bunce Cemetery at Elmer, Missouri.

Visitation will be Wednesday, November 11, 2026, with the family receiving friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
