Allen Ray Petree

Allen Ray Petree,55, of LaPlata, Missouri, passed away Monday, December 13, 2021 at
St. Mary's Hospital in Jefferson City.
Allen was born June 8, 1966, to Garry "Pete" and Beth Petree of LaPlata.
Allen was a 1984 graduate of LaPlata High School. He was passionate in everything he set out to do, including auto body work, car sales, and golf cart customization. Allen enjoyed life and loved meeting and hanging around people. He had a wonderful sense of humor and his laugh was infectious just like his Dad's. He was a devoted son, father, husband and big brother.
In June 2008, Allen married Jeanne. His twin daughters, Maci & Mindi were the light of his life. He was so proud of Maci's academic successes. Maci had a quick wit just like her dad. Allen was also so proud of Mindi and her barrel racing successes and enjoyed going to all kinds of barrel racing events.
Allen is survived by his mother, Beth; sisters, Becky (Doug) Thomas and Polly (Mark McIntyre) Petree; Jeanne Petree; daughters Maci and Mindi; several nieces and nephews; his dog Pricillia and Flash, World Famous Barrel Horse.
Allen was preceded in death by his father, Pete and grandparents. Allen was close to his dad and grandpa, Von McHenry.
Allen will be laid to rest next to his father at the McHenry Family Cemetery on Sunday, December 19, at 1:00 p.m.
