William "Bill" Eugene O'Haver

William “Bill” Eugene O’Haver, age 65 of Kirksville, Missouri, passed away Saturday, October 5, 2019 at University Hospital in Columbia, Missouri after a long battle with cancer.
Born December 1, 1953 in Mineral Wells, Texas, the son of William Steven and Lurah (Harris) O’Haver.
Surviving are his father, William; his children, Justin and Sabrina, Logan and Halie, Jardan and Salina, Brad and Jennifer, and Jammie; two brothers, Jeff and Darryl; one sister, Luanna; his grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
His mother; one son, Larry; one grandson, Tyvis; and his grandparents preceded him in death.
Bill moved to Kirksville in 1961. He graduated from Kirksville High School in 1972 and later went to welding school in Quincy, Illinois. He loved to race and was known as “Big O”. Bill was a hard workingman that loved his family, and helped everyone that needed him.
A visitation will be Wednesday, October 9, 2019 with the family receiving friends from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Travis Funeral Chapel in La Plata, Missouri.
He has been cremated and no other services are scheduled.
