Larry, you will be deeply missed by your community; not only in La Plata, but on the VRF chat. Thank you for your service to our nation and to the people of La Plata. While it’s hard for us to adjust to life here without you, you are a servant of God and I’m certain you’re in paradise with Him. Until we meet in the presence of The Lord.

Virtual Rail Fans from near and far were shocked to learn of Larry's passing. The passenger platform at the LaPlata station won't seem the same without "Clip Board Larry," or "Sir Lawrence of the clip board." A lot of people will always remember Larry when they click on to the VRF chat to see the SW Chief. I'll remember him not only for the always present clip board, but for his summer sandals and the winter plaid coat. RIP Sir Lawrence.

Sir Lawrence, May your “rails” be well maintained, and your “horn” sounds loud, as your “light” shines “on” at the La Plata Amtrak Station. Rest well my friend, you will be truly missed on the platform with your clipboard in hand. We raise the Blue flag at 1/2 mast and we chalk your name off the board. Well done Larry, All Aboard! Last Call, Rest well, and God Bless
