Rickey William Huddleston, age 36 of Phoenix, Arizona, and formerly of Atlanta, Missouri passed away peacefully in his sleep on Monday, June 5, 2017 in his home.

Born January 10, 1981 in Des Moines, Iowa, the son of Rick and Bambi (Collins) Huddleston.

Surviving are his dad and stepmom, Rick and Susan (Young) Huddleston of Kirksville, Missouri; mom and stepdad, Bambi and Robert of Mesa, Arizona; two sisters, Tera Bergfield and husband Jamie of Anabel, Missouri, and Ashley Harris and husband Calvin of Parsons, Kansas; girlfriend of four years, Nydia Sandoval of Phoenix, Arizona; and many aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, and cousins; and will be missed by many others. He was taken too soon from us.

Rickey is joining his sister, Mikki Vaughn and nephew, Dalton Gladbach along with his grandparents.

Rickey grew up in Atlanta, Missouri where he was a 1999 graduate of Atlanta High School. In college he obtained several degrees revolving around computer sciences, He earned a bachelor’s degree in I.T., which he used to obtain a job as an associate systems administrator for Expedia. Rickey was a lifelong fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and a Batman aficionado. His Batman collectibles and figurines were his pride and joy.

Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at Travis Funeral Chapel in La Plata, Missouri. Officiating will be Pastor Scott McNay.

Burial will be in the Mt. Tabor Cemetery, east of Atlanta, Missouri. Pallbearers will be Jamie Bergfield, Calvin Harris, Willie Vaughn, Brandon Seward, Brent Brookhart, and Andy Sandberg.

Visitation will be Tuesday, June 13, 2017 with the family receiving friends from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Travis Funeral Chapel.
