Deanna Kaye Allison, age 84, of La Plata, Missouri, passed away peacefully on the evening of September 26, 2025, at the La Plata Nursing Home.

She was preceded in death by her son, Aaron Jack Allison; her parents, Leonard Eugene and Katherine Irene (Goodman) Nelson; and her sister, Carolyn Nelson Warner.

She is survived by her husband, Jack William Allison Jr. (married 58 years); her children, Adam (Eden), Norene (Matt), Spencer (Sheree), Alma, Naomi (Chris), and Zebedee; 17 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; and 1 sister, Glenna Jean McCrimmon.

Deanna was a devoted mother and grandmother, a woman of deep faith, and was cherished for her love and kindness for all! She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered. We take comfort in knowing she has been reunited with her son, parents, and sister.

Visitation will be Friday, October 3, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, located at 2000 East Normal Street in Kirksville, MO with a celebration of her life being held at 12:00 p.m. following the visitation. Interment will be in the La Plata Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Travis Funeral Chapel in La Plata, Missouri.
