Guary G. Gardner, age 88, of Elmer, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at his home.

Born February 27, 1937, in Otterville, Missouri, the son of William Henry and Beulah Mae (Pruett) Gardner. On August 31, 1957, in Macon, Missouri, he was united in marriage to Edith Gean Hulett who preceded him in death on March 10, 2021.

Also preceding him in death were his parents and six siblings, Cliff Gardner, Betty Dela Cruz, Jack Gardner, C.W. Gardner, Terry Lee Gardner, and Calvin Henry Gardner.

Surviving are two sons, Mike Gardner of Pattonsburg, Missouri and Richard “Rick” Gardner of Atlanta, Missouri; two daughters, Sharon (David) Young of Kirksville, Missouri and Janice Magruder of Atlanta, Missouri; two brothers, Curly Gardner of Pattonsburg, Missouri and Joe Gardner of Breckenridge, Missouri; three sisters, Thelma Mallett of New Cambria, Missouri, Mary Allred of Breckenridge, Missouri, and Carolyn Crooker of Sedalia, Missouri; eight grandchildren, Renee Schimming, Sandra Minturn, Selena Kutschara, Rachel Young, Michele Chrisman, Kelsey Gardner, Derick Gardner, and Cheryl Gaardner; several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Guary lived most of his life in Elmer, Missouri. He owned and operated his own logging business. Guary enjoyed hunting and fishing, arrowhead hunting, and playing the banjo and fiddle.

Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 16, 2025, at the Elmer Cemetery in Elmer, Missouri. Officiating will be Pastor Chance Glen.
