Travis Funeral Chapel

Virginia L. Perry, age 79, of La Plata, Missouri, passed away Saturday, July 5, 2025, at her home.

Born January 17, 1946, in Shelbina, Missouri, the daughter of William Jasper and Rose Maxine (McEwen) Perry. On March 27, 1963, in Novelty, Missouri, she was united in marriage to Junior Perry who survives.

Also surviving are one son, Randy Perry of La Plata, Missouri; one grandson, Josh Perry of La Plata, Missouri; two brothers, Earnest (Nelda) Perry of Kearney, Missouri and Trent Perry of La Plata, Missouri; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Her parents; one sister, Donna Faye Hagar; and one brother, Billy Perry preceded her in death.

Virginia lived most of her life in the La Plata community. She was a member of the La Plata Baptist Church. Virginia enjoyed dancing, thrift shopping with Sue, taking pictures and spending time with her family.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 10, 2025, at Travis Funeral Chapel in La Plata, Missouri. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in the East Addition of the La Plata Cemetery in La Plata, Missouri.
