Carol Francis Simons, age 63, of La Plata, Missouri, died Thursday, October 23,2025, at Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville, Missouri.
Born February 3, 1962, in Hannibal, Missouri, the daughter of Ernest Allen and Juanita Ada (Boyles-Coe) Baker.
Surviving is her significant other, Mark Powell of La Plata, Missouri; daughter, April Teel of Moberly, Missouri; and her dogs, Snowflake, and Layla.
Her parents and dog, Snowball preceded her in death.
Carol enjoyed reading, puzzles, cooking and baking. She loved her dogs and helping others.
Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 1, 2025, in the East Addition of the La Plata Cemetery.
There will be no visitation.
