Rachel L. Shahan, age 30 of Kirksville, Missouri, passed away Thursday, July 11, 2024, at her home.
Born January 17, 1994, in Kirksville, Missouri, the daughter of Todd and Marla (Tennyson) Shahan.
Surviving is her mother, Marla Shahan of Kirksville; one brother, Seth Shahan of La Plata, Missouri; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Her father, Todd Shahan and grandparents preceded her in death.
Rachel was a 2012 graduate of La Plata High School where she excelled in athletics. She was a member of First Baptist Church in La Plata. She loved art and especially her dog, Tazz. Rachel was a warm, loving, and giving person with a gentle soul.
Memorial services will be 2:00 pm Sunday, July 21, 2024, at Travis Funeral Chapel In La Plata, Missouri.

From the 1st time I met you to the last time I saw you, you could always make me laugh. Im gonna miss our random talks and venting sessions. I watched you change ur life around so much from the 1st time I met you. I'm gonna miss you so much Rachel, but I know you are finally at peace. R.I.P. sweet girl.
