Randy Marion Schillie

Randy Marion Schillie, age 69 of La Plata, Missouri, passed away Friday, February 18, 2022 at Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville, Missouri.
Born August 8, 1952 in Kirksville, Missouri, the son of Marion Charles and Marvel (Plumlee) Schillie Matheney. On June 3, 1978 in Kirksville, Missouri, he was united in marriage to Judene Peek who survives.
Also surviving are one son, John (Erin) Schillie of Oak Ridge, North Carolina; two daughters, Julie Williams of Olathe, Kansas, and Alisha Schillie of Kirksville, Missouri; one brother, David Schillie of Belton, Missouri; and four grandchildren, Jennifer (Blake) Pflum, Jasmine McNew, Alexander Schillie, and Gwen Schillie.
His parents and one son, Marion Schillie preceded him in death.
Randy lived most all of his life in La Plata. He was a 1971 graduate of La Plata High School; a member of the La Plata Christian Church; and a longtime employee of the Moots Family Farms. Randy enjoyed fishing, camping, 4-wheeler riding, and spending time with his family.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 21, 2022 at the La Plata Christian Church. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the church.
Burial will be in the Yarrow Cemetery, Yarrow, Missouri.
