Herbert Thomas Cook

Herbert Thomas Cook Jr., age 71 of La Plata, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at Boone Hospital in Columbia, Missouri.
Born May 9, 1951 in Quincy, Illinois, the son of Herbert and Zelma (Stewart) Cook.
Surviving are one son, Herbert (Kristen) Cook III; two daughters, Jessica (Tom) Fish and Desiree (Navdeep) Singh; four brothers, Kenny Cook, David Cook, Danny (Kathy) Cook, and John (Betsy) Cook; four sisters, Patty (Terry) Purvis, Debbie Cook, Lori Phillips, and Lisa Cook; sixteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one infant son, Benjamin Andrew Cook; two sisters, Peggy Ann Swann and Frances Tipton; and one brother, Troy Cook.
Mr. Cook worked for Ratliff Reed, Inc. in Kirksville, Missouri until retirement. He enjoyed fishing and playing his guitar.
