Lloyd Dale Gladhill

Lloyd Dale Gladhill, age 70 of Atlanta, Missouri, passed away Sunday, August 22, 2021 at his home.
Born January 10, 1951 in Macon County, Missouri, he was the son of Howard and Freda (Main) Gladhill.
Surviving are cousins, Kinny Gladhill, Jeff and Kevin Gladhill; uncle, Delmar Gladhill; nephews, Chet Gladhill and Family and Jerry Main; niece, Kelly Main; and four stepchildren, Lonnie, Angela, Cathy, and Chad.
His parents; three brothers, Jackie Main, Joe Gladhill and Dean Gladhill; two nieces, Lynette Gladhill and Amy Main; and one nephew, Jay Main, preceded him in death.
Lloyd was a graduate of Atlanta High School. He was employed for many years at Associated Electric Cooperative Inc. – Thomas Hill Energy Center. Lloyd was known far and wide as the owner of L.D.’s Bar & Grill in Economy, Missouri. He truly enjoyed his years with all of the patrons at his fine country dining/honkytonk.
Lloyd was known as L.D. or to some close friends as Do Do. He was a lifelong collector and hunter of arrowheads.
It was Lloyd’s wish to be cremated. A graveside service in Mt. Tabor Cemetery will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are by Travis Funeral Chapel in La Plata, Missouri.
