Dean Cash, age 62 of La Plata, Missouri, went to be with the Lord on Friday, October 8, 2021 at his home.
Born October 3, 1959 in Duluth, Georgia, he was the son of Donald Dean and Marion (Rogers) Cash. On December 30, 1999 in Fayette, Missouri, he was united in marriage to the love of his life, Rose Sowards who survives.
Also surviving are his mother, Marion (Herb Hendee) of Atlanta, Missouri; one son, Buddy (Mindy) Atkins of La Plata, Missouri; one daughter, Amanda (Kevin) Robinson of Macon, Missouri; one sister, Cindy (Scott) Teter of Atlanta, Missouri; two brothers, Randy (Jenny) Walker of Sue City, Missouri and Rory Walker of Atlanta, Missouri; three nieces, two nephews, several special friends and extended family.
His father and both sets of grandparents, Dewey and Leah Cash and Rufus and Vivian Rogers, preceded him in death.
Dean lived most of his life in Atlanta where he was a 1978 graduate of Atlanta High School. He began his career as a heavy equipment operator, helping to build Long Branch Lake. He later drove over the road moving large machinery all over the United States.
Dean worshiped his family, especially his wife of 32 years and his children who meant everything to him.
Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at Travis Funeral Chapel in La Plata, Missouri. Inurnment will be at a later date in Mt. Tabor Cemetery east of Atlanta, Missouri.
