Betty Sue Young, age 76 of Atlanta, Missouri, passed away Monday, September 28, 2020 at Boone Hospital in Columbia, Missouri.
Born March 19, 1944 in Edina, Missouri, the daughter of Charley and Suzie (Collins) Burris.
Survivors include her companion, Leslie Findling of Atlanta, Missouri; four children, Jeff Young of Hannibal, Missouri, Linda Young of Macon, Missouri, Todd Young and Geri Reed of Atlanta, Missouri, and Shane and Jodi Young of Sheridan, Michigan; two sisters, Kay and Eddie Trout of Hannibal, Missouri and Mary Jo and Joe Leonard of New London, Missouri; three grandchildren, Jeffery, Maggie, and Ernie Young; one step-great-granddaughter, Diamond; and several nieces and nephews.
Her parents and husband, Jerry Young preceded her in death.
Betty attended Knox County Schools and graduated from La Plata High School. She lived most all of life in rural Atlanta, Missouri.
Betty’s wishes were to be cremated. No services are scheduled at this time.
