Sandra Joan Replogle, age 78 of Atlanta, Missouri, passed away Friday, May 29, 2020 at the La Plata Nursing Home in La Plata, Missouri.

Born August 16, 1941 in Leonard, Missouri, the daughter of Manley “Peck” and Verona Fern “Pat” (Zuetlau) Brown. On November 15, 1964 she was united in marriage to James Replogle who survives.

Also surviving are one daughter, Denise Sherwood of Springfield, Illinois; one son, Evan Replogle (Vicky) of Atlanta, Missouri; two grandchildren, Amy Burns (Nicole) of Bevier, Missouri and Allen Replogle (Jessica) of Kirksville, Missouri; two step-grandchildren, Tanner Maloney (Cheyenne) of Macon, Missouri and Breann Ramage of Branson, Missouri; five step-great-grandchildren; two brothers and five sisters, Sally Allison of Shelbina, Missouri, Sonny Brown (Joyce) of Leonard, Missouri, Vicki Reynolds of Shelbina, Missouri, Anna Marie Jackson (Bill) of Virginia, Frankie Brown (Vickie) of Lathrop, Missouri, Becky Caldwell (Bill) of Monroe City, Missouri, and Mary E. Kohn of Macon, Missouri; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins that miss her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Billy Joe Brown; and three brothers-in-law, Bob Allison, Morris Reynolds, and Chuck Kohn.

Sandra lived all of her life in Shelby and Macon counties.

There will be no visitation or funeral service. Memorials in memory of Sandra Replogle may be made to the La Plata Nursing Home. They may be left at or sent to Travis Funeral Chapel, 125 S. Church St., La Plata, Missouri 63549.

Sandra’s family wants to extend a sincere thank you for all the prayers, thoughts, and food that everyone has offered during this time of grief. An extra special thank you to the La Plata Nursing Home staff for the care and love they gave Sandra.
