Marvin D. Young

Marvin D. Young, age 86 of Atlanta, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at Moberly Nursing and Rehab in Moberly, Missouri.
Born January 2, 1934 in Sorento, Illinois, the son of Robert Henry and Geraldine (Waters) Young. On July 12, 1972 in Las Vegas, Nevada, he was united in marriage to Ruth Ann Swind who preceded him in death on September 24, 2015.
Also preceding him in death were his parents; one brother, Melvin Young; and one sister, Melvia Lowe.
Surviving are two sons, John (Fawn) Young of Macon, Missouri and Duane Young of Atlanta, Missouri; five daughters, Denna Lupold, Gerry Young, Kathy Grigis, Sandy Young, and Teresa Pouvi; one brother, Mervin Young of Arizona; and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and other relatives and friends.
Marvin moved to Atlanta from the Quad Cities area in 1985. He enjoyed playing golf in his spare time.
It was Marvin’s wishes to be cremated and no public services to be held.
