Leota F. Krawl

Leota F. Krawl, age 95 of Macon, Missouri, passed away Monday, September 30, 2019 at Loch Haven Nursing Home.
Born May 6, 1924 near Novelty, Missouri, the daughter of Charles Orval and Sophia (Kautz) Snow. On March 23, 1945 she was united in marriage to Eason Krawl and to this union five children were born.
Surviving are two daughters, Sharla and Russell Riley of Atlanta, Missouri and Rosalie Mathis of Bevier, Missouri; fourteen grandchildren, thirty great grandchildren, and fourteen great-great-grandchildren; four sisters-in-law, Dolly Snow, Mary Lou Snow, Ruby Allen and Dorothy Krawl; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Eason; one daughter, Kathy Pipes; two sons, Harold and Lee Roy Krawl; five brothers, Curtis, Ralph, Raymond, Roger, and Robert Snow; four sisters, Velma Goodwin, Dorothy Taylor, Ruby Voyles, and Deloma Snow; one granddaughter, Cynthia Pipes; and two sons-in-law, Mearl Pipes and Bill Mathis.
Leota spent most of her married life living in the Atlanta area on a farm raising her children and later in town. She worked for 25 years at Colonial Restaurant, Holman’s Restaurant, and Toastmaster. She enjoyed playing cards, visiting with her family, family dinners, and attending bluegrass festivals. Leota was an avid fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and rarely missed a game. She was a member of the Atlanta Christian Church.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, October 3, 2019 at Crossroads Christian Church in Macon, Missouri. Burial will be in Mt. Tabor Cemetery, east of Atlanta, Missouri.
Visitation will be Thursday, October 3, 2019 with the family receiving friends from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the church.
