Evelyn Juanita Shirley Hagar passed away May 12th 2018 in Macon Missouri. Born on July 26, 1928 to Hazel West Shirley and Hugh Knox Shirley. She was married to Archie Hagar on July 1, 1946. She was the mother of three children, Jean Ann Nissan of Mount Pleasant Iowa, Mona Clarkson of Everett Washington and Bill Ray Hagar.
She is survived by her daughters, 2 grandchildren, Bill Graf of Lockridge Iowa and Evelyn Danielle Lumsden (Warren) of Bothell Washington, 4 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter, her brother Bill Shirley of Humbolt Kansas, and her sister and brother in law Peggy and Bill Loe of La Plata.
She was proceeded in death by her son Bill her husband Archie and her beloved brother Gene.
She requested no funeral. Inurnment will be at a later date.
A celebration of her life is planned for Labor Day weekend. The details are pending and will be announced on Facebook shortly.
Evelyn lived in La Plata for more than 80 years. She loved her family her home with the bright red roof, her many friends and La Plata.
