John Albert Cebuhar
February 27, 1924 - January 6, 2018
John Albert Cebuhar, age 93 of La Plata, Missouri, passed away Saturday, January 6, 2018 at Milan Health Care Center in Milan, Missouri.
Born February 27, 1924 in Rathbun, Iowa, the son of Vence B. and Mary (Benetta) Cebuhar.
He is survived by the loves of his life, his wife, Reverend Virginia R. Lancaster of La Plata, Missouri; step- daughter, Vaneta Mae McKim; and grandson, Jeremiah Isaiah McKim, who was his pride and joy.
John lived in Macon County, Missouri for several years. He served in the United States Army during W.W. II and was honored with an Honor Flight Trip to Washington D.C. John loved Cardinal Baseball.
He had told Vaneta in their last phone talk “I’m going to be with you and your mother.” John was a saved man.
There will be no services. Inurnment will be at a later date in Gibbs Union Cemetery.
