Randy Lee Dore

Randy Lee Dore, age 55 of La Plata, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at his home.
Born April 14, 1961 in Kirksville, Missouri, he was the son of James L. and Wilma J. (Warning) Dore. On February 23, 2002 in La Plata, Missouri he was united in marriage to Sharon (Sparrow) Schiff who survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Brandi and Kieth of La Plata, Missouri, and Tracie and husband Billy of La Plata, Missouri; two brothers, Jerry Drummond of Columbia, Missouri and Donald Dore of Kirksville, Missouri; three sisters, Caroline Giesler of Los Angeles, California, Barb Phillips of Kirksville, Missouri, and Belinda Dore of La Plata, Missouri; two grandchildren, Drake Peek and Madyson Dale; and several nieces and nephews.
His parents and one brother, Steve Dore preceded him in death.
Randy was a 1979 graduate of Kirksville High School. He worked for the school district for over 33 years, starting his junior year scraping lunch trays and later working as a custodian and groundskeeper. He always felt blessed for having so many friends at the school district. He also volunteered at the La Plata Food Pantry.
Randy was a Cardinal and Nascar fan, enjoyed fishing and hunting, and was a Christmas lover and collector. He loved to laugh and always had a smile. He loved his family so much, especially his grandchildren.
Randy has been cremated and there will be no services.
