Wilma C. Roberts
January 25, 1932 - August 29, 2015
Wilma C. Roberts, age 83 of Macon, Missouri, passed away Saturday, August 29, 2015 at the Macon Health Care Center in Macon, Missouri.
Born January 25, 1932 in Atlanta, Missouri, she was the daughter of Alva and Fern (Richardson) Magruder.
Surviving are two sons, Raymond Beeson and wife Pat of Shawnee, Kansas and Ronald Beeson of Kansas City, Missouri; one sister, Cecille Maize and husband Leland of Macon, Missouri; and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Phil Roberts, one brother, Dwayne Magruder and one sister, Glendola Johnson.
Wilma lived most all of her life in Macon County. She was a 1949 graduate of Atlanta High School, and was a member of the Atlanta Christian Church.
A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at the La Plata Cemetery in La Plata, Missouri.
Visitation will be Tuesday with the family receiving friends from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Travis Funeral Chapel in La Plata, Missouri.
