Armenta T. Gubbine

Armenta T. Gubbine, age 88 of La Plata, Missouri, passed away Saturday, February 28, 2015 at Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville, Missouri.
Born July 17, 1926 in Bridgeton, New Jersey, she was the daughter of Leonard and Alice (Kinkle) Thomas.
Surviving is her husband, Abraham L. Gubbine and one son, Abraham L. Gubbine Jr. both of La Plata, Missouri.
Preceding her in death were her parents, four brothers, and four sisters.
Armenta moved to La Plata from New Jersey in 1993. She attended the La Plata Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 2, 2015 at Travis Funeral Chapel in La Plata, Missouri. Officiating will be Pastor John Gorham.
Burial will be in the La Plata Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ken Thomas, Jeremy Curtis, Randy Baker, Jeff Thomas, Mark Thomas, and Bill Thomas.
Visitation will be Monday, March 2, 2015 with the family receiving friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Travis Funeral Chapel in La Plata, Missouri.
