Scott D. Stoner, age 55 of La Plata, Missouri, passed away Tuesday December 23, 2014 at Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville, Missouri.
Born May 6, 1959 in Waterloo, Iowa, he was the son of Darv and Betty (Thron) Stoner. On December 28, 1993 in Waterloo, Iowa he married Diana M. Wheeler who survives.
Also surviving are: his mother, Betty Wright of Waterloo, Iowa; one son, Travis Bowen of Covington, Virginia; two daughters, Summer Mason of Kirksville, Missouri and Katie Stoner of La Plata, Missouri; two brothers, Greg Stoner and wife Jessica of Waterloo, Iowa, and Jeff Stoner of Waterloo, Iowa; one sister, Deb Yarbrough and husband Dwayne of Wynne, Arkansas; and two grandchildren, Rylee and William.
Scott lived most of his life in Waterloo, Iowa before moving to La Plata in 2008.
Inurnment will be at a later date in Waterloo, Iowa.
