Barbara Ann Wolf, age 82 of La Plata, Missouri, passed away Sunday, September 2, 2012 at the La Plata Nursing Home.

Born September 3, 1929 in rural Atlanta, Missouri, she was the daughter of Lloyd and Susie (Davis) Collins. On May 20, 1950 in La Plata, Missouri, she married Dale Wolf who preceded her in death on September 18, 2008.

Also preceding her in death were her parents and one sister, Gayle Cribb.

Surviving are two sons, Gene Wolf of Fulton, Missouri and Mike Wolf and wife Debbie of Kirksville, Missouri; four sisters, Elen Heinrichs of Kansas City, Missouri, Elaine Maelzer of Olatha, Kansas, Marilyn Schoneman of Independence, Missouri, and Sandra Boland of Trenton, Missouri; four grandchildren, Chris Wolf, Tracy Coffman, Jill Eltiste, and Jamie Wolf; and ten great grandchildren, Braden Wolf, Cailee Coffman, Madison Coffman, Hunter Bunch, Courtney Wolf, Stormy Coffman, Mason Eltiste, Ayla Eltiste, Jonah Wolf, and Tenley Wolf.

Barbara lived most all of her life in the La Plata community. She was a 1947 graduate of La Plata High School. For many years, she was employed at the La Plata State Bank and was a past member of the O.E.S. in La Plata. She was a faithful member of the La Plata Baptist Church and a volunteer at the La Plata Christian Ministries. Barbara enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at the La Plata Baptist Church. Officiating will be Pastor David Gottman.

Burial will be in the La Plata Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Chris Wolf, Jamie Wolf, Travis Coffman, James Eltiste, Den Hall, and Dan Hall.

Visitation will be Wednesday, September 5, 2012 with the family receiving friends from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the La Plata Baptist Church.
