Bette Ann Bogeart

Bette Ann (Gash) Bogeart, age 82, of Kirksville, Missouri, passed away on Saturday (May 12, 2012) at Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville, Missouri.
Born May 3, 1930, in Gifford, Missouri, she was the daughter of Lula Mae (Magers) Epperson and Herbert Gash. On December 30, 1945, in Paola, Kansas, she married Edward W. Bogeart who preceded her in death on February 22, 2002.
Also preceding her in death were her parents and one grandson, Christopher Michael Bogeart.
Surviving are five children, Diana (Bogeart) Reynolds and husband Terry of Kirksville, Missouri, Lynn Bogeart and wife Terri of Independence, Missouri, Doug Bogeart and wife Linda of Streator, Illinois, Greg Bogeart of Moberly, Missouri, Ron Bogeart and wife Rita of La Plata, Missouri; six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, one great-niece, and one great-great-niece, Doug Reynolds and daughters Kaitlyn and Sara of Woodridge, Illinois, Tracy Reynolds of Norfolk, Virginia, Chris Bogeart (deceased) and son Noah and daughter Lydia of Lee’s Summit, Missouri, Rachel (Bogeart) Laws and husband Dion and daughter Joy, of Blue Springs, Missouri, Collin and Romi Bogeart of Streator, Illinois, April Glaspie of Houston, Texas, and Maria Glaspie and daughter Lydia of Brashear, Missouri; and one brother Donald Lee Gash and wife Geraldine (Redmon) of Raytown, Missouri.
Visitation will be held Monday, May 14, 2012, at the Travis Funeral Chapel in La Plata, Missouri, with the family receiving friends from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Graveside services will be held at Hopewell Cemetery, west of Atlanta, Missouri, immediately following visitation.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Bette A. Bogeart Memorial Scholarship Fund. They may be sent to or left at Travis Funeral Chapel, 125 S. Church St., La Plata, Missouri, 63549.
