John G. "Jack" Steadward

John “Jack” G. Steadward, age 82 of La Plata, Missouri, passed away Friday, March 30, 2012 at the University Hospital in Columbia, Missouri.
Born July 31, 1929 in Holyoke, Massachusetts, he was the son of Thomas and Rose E. (Watkins) Steadward.
Surviving is his mother, Rose Steadward of Novinger, Missouri; one son, Charles Steadward of Walnut, California; two daughters, Dawn Aceituno of Columbia, Missouri and Antoinette Scardina of Las Vegas, Nevada; one sister, Mary Crisman of Novinger, Missouri; one brother, Robert Steadward of Novinger, Missouri; four grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, one son John Steadward, two brothers, and one grandson Michael.
Jack served in the United States Marine Corp during the Korean War. For the last several years he resided in the Novinger and La Plata communities.
It was Jack’s wishes to be cremated and have no services.
