Zelma Mae Kellam

Zelma Mae Kellam, age 89, of La Plata, Missouri passed away Friday, April 29, 2011 at Northeast Regional Medical Center, Kirksville, Missouri.
Born September 2, 1921 in La Plata, Missouri. She was the daughter of Robert Newton and Maude Lydell (Fulmer) Beall. On April 15, 1992 in La Plata, Missouri she married Floyd Kellam who survives.
Also surviving are two sons Lloyd Demory of La Plata, Missouri and Jim Demory of Chattanooga, Tennessee; five grandchildren, Dana, Darrin, Stephanie, Jacob and Jordan;
six great-grandchildren and three great great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands Jacob Demory and Dean Jaynes, and one brother Glenn Beall.
Zelma live most of her life in the La Plata Community. She worked many years in the cafeterias at Truman State University and La Plata R-II Schools. She was a member of the Lighthouse Assembly of God Church.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 2, 2011 at Travis Funeral Chapel, La Plata, Missouri. Officiating will be the Reverend Don Crawford. Music will be provided by organist Sara Beth Fouch and vocalist Melvin Bissey. Selections will be “In the Garden” and “Trust and Obey”.
Burial will be in the La Plata Cemetery, La Plata, Missouri.
Visitation will be Monday, May 2 from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the Funeral Chapel.
