Richard Milton Walker

Richard Milton Walker, age 75 of Macon, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at Lock Haven Nursing Home in Macon, Missouri.
Born January 30, 1936 in Atlanta, Missouri, he was the son of Pearl and Opal (Downey) Walker. On October 5, 1958 in Atlanta, Missouri he married Emma Jean Wing who survives.
Also surviving is one daughter, Kimberly Kay Hoffman and husband Richard of Huntsville, Missouri; one brother, Gary Walker and wife Carolyn of Bevier, Missouri; two grandchildren, Amanda Anderson of Higbee, Missouri and Brandon Hoffman of Huntsville, Missouri; one great grandson, Brayden Anderson of Higbee, Missouri; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Richard lived all of his life in Macon County, except while serving in the United States Army from 1958 to 1964. He enjoyed tinkering on the farm, going to the boat, and especially spending time with his family.
Richard has been cremated and there will be no funeral service.
Visitation will be Saturday, April 16, 2011 with the family receiving friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Travis Funeral Chapel in La Plata, Missouri.
