Pamela Sue Williams

Pamela Sue Williams, age 49 of La Plata, Missouri, passed away Monday, August 23, 2010 at the University Hospital in Columbia, Missouri.
Born March 28, 1961 in Unionville, Missouri, she was the daughter of William Thomas and Selina M. (Sizemore) Clark. On August 16, 1976 in Glenwood, Missouri, she married Marvin Duane Ownbey who preceded her in death on November 19, 2002. On March 11, 2004 in Las Vegas, Nevada, she married Lester Williams who survives.
Also surviving are her parents, William Thomas Clark of Trenton, Missouri and Selina M. Clark of Canyonville, Oregon; three sons, Derrick Ownbey and wife Heather of La Belle, Missouri, Kyle Williams and wife Jenna of La Plata, Missouri, and Travis Williams of Columbia, Missouri; four daughters, Shashana Carr and husband Chris of Edina, Missouri, Leslie Payton and husband Jason of La Plata, Missouri, Windy Potter and husband David of Moline, Illinois, and Becky Williams of Janesville, Wisconsin; two brothers, Glen E. Clark and wife Karron of Green City, Missouri and Junior Clark and wife Georganna of Green City, Missouri; one sister, Debbie J. Sizemore of Green Castle, Missouri; fourteen grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Pam lived in the communities of Green City and La Plata, and the state of Oregon. She was employed at the Schuyler County Nursing Home.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, August 26, 2010 at the Travis Funeral Chapel in La Plata, Missouri. Officiating will be Pastor Damon Sturm.
Burial will be in the Indian Hill Cemetery, north of Gifford, Missouri. Pallbearers will be Josh Clark, Kyle Williams, Travis Williams, Jeff Curtis, Tom Ownbey, and Neil Clark.
Visitation will be Thursday, August 26, 2010 with the family receiving friends from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Travis Funeral Chapel.
