David Michael Gochnauer

David Michael "Mike" Gochauer, age 75 of La Plata, Missouri, passed away Monday, May 10, 2010, at the Samaritan Memorial Hospital in Macon, Missouri.
Born February 2, 1935 in Stillwell, kansas, he was the son of Harvey H. and Mabel (Bachman) Gochnauer. On September 14, 1957 in La Plata, Missouri he married Yvonne Anderson who preceded him in death on Bovember 26, 1994.
also preceding him in death were his parents; one brother, John Gochnauer; one sister, Jean Lewis; and two children, Harvey James and Denise Gochnauer.
Surviving is one son and daughter-in-law, Bobby and Sheila Bochnauer of Bevier, Missouri; one daughter, Marilyn Blickhan of Kirksville, Missouri; one brother, Pat Gochnauer of Mohave, California; one sister, Peggy Sharp of Novinger, Missouri; two grandchildren, Macey and Logan Blickhan; one step-granddaughter, Barbie Ballard; four step-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Mike lived most of his life in the La Plata area. He enjoyed his animals, going to auctions, and listening to party line.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 14, 2010, at Travis Funeral Chapel in La Plata, Missouri.
Burial will be in the La Plata Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday, May 14, 2010 from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Travis Funeral Chapel.
