Edward E. Lyman

Edward E. Lyman, age 79 of Gifford, Missouri, passed away Saturday, March 27, 2010 at the Boone Hospital Center in Columbia, Missouri.
Born August 2, 1930 in Iowa City, Iowa, he was the son of Edward A. and Mary M. (Smith) Lyman.
His parents, one brother Robert Lyman and one sister Doris Griffin preceded him in death.
Survivors include one brother, Richard E. “Red” Lyman and wife Donna of Charles City, Iowa and one sister, Betty Davis of Berwick, Iowa.
Ed lived most of his life in Grafton, Iowa before moving to Gifford, Missouri in 2002.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 31, 2010 at the Travis Funeral Chapel, in LaPlata, Missouri. Officiating will be Pastor Elmer “Mac” McCully. Musical selections will be “The Old Rugged Cross”, “Take My Hand Precious Lord”, and “On Eagle’s Wings”. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service starting at 1:00 p.m.
Burial will be at a later date in the Evergreen Cemetery in Rudd, Iowa.
