Kenneth Ray Moyer

Kenneth Ray Moyer, age 67 of La Plata, Missouri, passed away Friday, February 13, 2015 at Macon Health Care Center in Macon, Missouri.
Born January 7, 1948 in Novelty, Missouri, he was the son of Kenneth Earl and Reta M. (McClay) Moyer.
Surviving are two brothers and sisters-in-law, Leland E. and Mary Moyer of Atlanta, Missouri and John I. and Janice Moyer of Novelty, Missouri; one sister, Rebecca K. Moyer and Charles Dromey of Novelty, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews.
His parents preceded him in death.
Ray was a member of the La Plata Baptist Church. He was a St. Louis Cardinal fan and a huge La Plata Bulldog fan, never missing a home sporting event. Ray also enjoyed putting puzzles together, many of which can be seen in different venues in La Plata.
Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at Travis Funeral Chapel in La Plata, Missouri. Officiating will be Pastor John Gorham.
Burial will be in Sloan’s Point Cemetery west of Kirksville, Missouri. Pallbearers will be Brian Ewing, Jim Elrod, Tim Elrod, Charlie Dromey, Bob Cox, and Jim Woolfolk.
Visitation will be Monday, February 16, 2015 with the family receiving friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Travis Funeral Chapel in La Plata, Missouri.
