Reva Jean Graham, age 76 of La Plata, Missouri, passed away Friday, September 9, 2016 at the La Plata Nursing Home.

Born July 7, 1940 in Wyaconda, Missouri, the daughter of Merrill Virgil and Evelyn Bernice (Benda) Ingold. On June 29, 1957 in La Plata, Missouri she was united in marriage to Kenneth “Skeeter” Graham who preceded her in death on April 30, 1995.

Also preceding her in death were her parents; one daughter, Teresa Hutton; one brother, Merrill Ingold; two sisters, Ila Smith and Clarice Jones; and one granddaughter.

Surviving is one son, Charles Graham and wife, Lonnie of Columbia, Missouri; two daughters, Tanna Calhoun and husband, Phil of Greentop, Missouri and Carrie Swift of Jefferson City, Missouri; three sisters, Evelyn Glasgow of Edina, Missouri, Lois Keller of Camdenton, Missouri, and Anita Milz of Independence, Missouri; seven grandchildren, Jill Moncrief and husband Brad, Jana Calhoun and Scott, Chris Calhoun, Laura Sivert, Peyton Swift, Ashley Sapp and husband Adam, and Cameron Graham; and seven great grandchildren, Tanner, Mason, Kaitlyn, Maddox, Tessa, Lucas, and Kinley.

Reva lived most all of her life in La Plata. She was a 1958 graduate of La Plata High School. She was a LPN at the La Plata Nursing Home for many years, and later worked at Wal-Mart in Kirksville until her retirement. She was a member of the First Christian Church in La Plata.

Reva enjoyed gardening, antiques, and all of her grandchildren’s events. She was an avid St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan, never missing a game.

Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday, September 11, 2016 at Travis Funeral Chapel in La Plata, Missouri. Officiating will be Pastor John Gorham.

Burial will be in the La Plata Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Chris Calhoun, Peyton Swift, Cameron Graham, Adam Sapp, Brad Moncrief, and Scott Berry.

Visitation will be Sunday, September 11, 2016 with the family receiving friends from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Travis Funeral Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to La Plata Cemetery or Hospice of Northeast Missouri. They may be sent to or left at Travis Funeral Chapel, 125 S. Church St., La Plata, Missouri 63549.
